Description
A traditional “Full Spectrum” product features a blend of cannabinoids and other compounds from the cannabis plant, including THC, to create an all-encompassing product that results in a synergistic reaction between the compounds referred to as the Entourage Effect. A “Broad Spectrum” product accomplishes the same entourage effect, but with all traces of THC removed from the final blend.
In order to produce our Keylife Broad Spectrum CBD Oil, we start with our organic hemp, grown in Portland, utilizing third-party lab testing to ensure that all plants will yield a suitable potency and are free of all pesticides, heavy metals, or other contaminants.
Next, we pass super-critical CO2 through the harvested and trimmed plant matter to extract the cannabinoids from the terpenes, lipid molecules, and other plant compounds. Super-critical CO2 simply means that the CO2 is both extremely cold and high in pressure (approximately -69º F and 75 pounds PSI)1, allowing it to exist as both a gas and liquid simultaneously, which helps it pass through the plant material more easily and with greater impact on the contents. The CO2 acts as a solvent on the plant matter, helping it to breakdown, before being removed altogether, leaving behind a full-spectrum extract that can be refined or modified as needed.2 While other, cheaper extraction options are available, CO2 extraction is generally accepted as both the safest and most effective process for maximum, high-quality cannabinoid yields. Upon completing the initial extraction process, the broad spectrum extract is then run through a process referred to as short-path distillation, which removes all traces of the psychoactive compound tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), leaving only CBD, which is combined with our cold-pressed hemp seed oil to produce our Keylife Broad Spectrum CBD Oil.
Upon completion of the manufacturing process, all Keylife CBD products are subject to third-party lab testing to ensure that we only provide you with a product that is honest in its claims, safe, all-natural, and consistent every time. All test results are available by clicking the Lab Purity Testing button contained within the Product Summary at the top of the page. Then, it’s finally bottled in Florida and shipped out to consumers to enjoy all of the benefits of Keylife premium CBD.
Cannabidiol or CBD for short is the most popular and widely-researched of the cannabinoids outside of THC. While available in a multitude of products, including sprays, salves, vapables, edibles, drinks, bath products, and even pet treats, it is tinctures that have generally been the most common delivery method. Applied in a sublingual fashion, tinctures are absorbed into the vascular system through the various capillaries in our tongues. Sublingual applications tend to have a 13% to 19% bioavailability rate (or how much and how fast a drug is absorbed into your system), though can be as high as 35% in some forms. Sublingual dosing provides a higher rate of bioavailability than simple oral dosing, so to ensure maximum efficacy always keep the tincture under your tongue for anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds. If you simply swallow a tincture without sublingual application first you’ll still reap some benefits of the CBD, but the bioavailability could be reduced to as little as 6%.3
Health.harvard.edu states that CBD has been suggested “for a wide variety of health issues,” including:
– The prevention of seizures from epilepsy: specifically childhood epilepsy and such debilitating disorders as Dravet Syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS)
– Treatment for anxiety and depression: Cannabinoids have been shown in lab tests to reduce anxiety, which is the leading contributing factor in suffering from depression. An interesting note is that CBD has been proven to reduce anxiety across all types of individuals, regardless of whether they suffer from some form of anxiety disorder or not.4
– Sleep regulation and insomnia. Early research from the National Center for PTSD and Palo Alto University shows that CBD may have “therapeutic potential for the treatment of insomnia,” and “may hold promise for REM sleep behavior disorder and excessive daytime sleepiness.”5
– The potential to inhibit inflammatory and neuropathic chronic pain (such as symptoms shown in arthritis sufferers)6
– Relief from symptoms caused by Multiple sclerosis: CBD is effective in improving pain, muscle tightness, and urination frequency in sufferers of MS7, allowing for an improved quality of life.
Keylife CBD has gone to great lengths, whether it be in farming techniques, conducting research, investing in technology, or in offering complete transparency in lab testing, to ensure that no corners are cut, no misleading claims are ever made, and that only the highest-quality, all-natural CBD products end up in your hands. Try our Keylife Broad Spectrum CBD Oil today and see how it can impact your life in a positive and beneficial way.

Keylife CBD uses only the finest all-natural ingredients and manufacturing processes to create our tinctures, thus ensuring a high-end product, free from impurities and artificial additives. Our Keylife Broad Spectrum CBD Oil is vegan and gluten-free too, so you can rest assured that it meets your lifestyle requirements. Dependent on your needs, every 30ml bottle contains anywhere from 1000mg to 5000mg of broad-spectrum CBD, alongside cold-pressed hemp.
Broad Spectrum CBD – Harvested from organically-grown cannabis plants farmed by us right here in the U.S. in Oregon. Our stringent quality control process ensures that all Keylife CBD plants are raised organically and are non-GMO and free of pesticides. Every plant is third-party lab tested to ensure potency and that no pesticides or additional additives, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, or heavy metals are added along the way.
Cold-Pressed Hempseed Oil – Cannabinoids need to be paired up with lipid molecules in order to allow them to bind the internal receptors within the endocannabinoid system. Most other manufacturers use MCT or coconut oil, as it is cheap and relatively easily absorbed by the body. Here at Keylife CBD though we realized that by using Cold-Pressed Hemp Seed Oil as our lipid base we could provide even more cannabinoids within the final tincture. Hemp Seed Oil is a more expensive choice for us to have made, but one we feel provides a better quality end product, that will provide you with the most benefits possible.

Antibacterial Potency
Preliminary research indicates that CBD is equally as effective at fighting bacteria as common antibiotics,8 but with no, to very limited, side effects versus more traditional treatments. CBD has been shown to help eliminate staphylococcus and streptococcus as well as impacting biofilm, a slimy, protective layer of bacteria that often prevents the absorption of antibiotics into the system. |

|
Mood Modulation
CBD is strongly involved in a variety of neurological actions, including an ability to have an effect on the way neuron receptors in the brain function. CBD has an almost chameleon-esque ability to replicate the responses of our own, naturally-produced endocannabinoids, allowing it to help maintain normal neurological functions, whether it be through reducing anxiety, improving focus or offsetting major depression.4 |
 |
Sleep Regulation
Medical studies have shown that CBD can have a positive impact on your quality of sleep as well as helping to reduce sleep disturbances and increasing the rate at which you fall asleep.5 |
 |
Neurogenerative Properties
CBD and other cannabinoids and endocannabinoids can help modulate neurogenesis after birth through interactions with receptors in the endocannabinoid system, specifically in areas of the hippocampus and lateral ventricles. |
 |
Gastrointestinal Inflammation Reduction
The endocannabinoid systems (ECS) appears to play a significant role in GI homeostasis and health. CBD interacts with the ECS to act as both an analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent to prevent gut inflammation and irritability often associated with a variety of GI issues. |
 |
Pain Relief
While studies on CBD’s effects on pain are still in the early days of research, evidence indicates that CBD may help with the relief of chronic pain, with little chance of the side effects, addictiveness or potential toxicity that can occur with traditional pain-relief medications.6 |
 |
Improved Range of Motion
Thanks to its ability to decrease swelling and pain within the body, individuals using CBD can potentially see relief in everything from degenerative disorders to simple post-workout recovery and repair.7 |

|
Prevention of Seizures
CBD can be used to alleviate or prevent the severity and number of occurrences of seizures in those effected. |
 |
Skin Health
CBD can interact with the ECS to determine skin cell specification and production by helping to prevent the build-up of potentially troublesome cells and regulating the production of sebum or oil produced by the skin. |

Tinctures are administered orally, specifically sublingually, meaning they are placed under the tongue. Thanks to the numerous small veins under the tongue, referred to as capillaries, CBD and other cannabinoids can be absorbed quickly and efficiently into the bloodstream. Ensuring you receive the most cannabinoids possible in the shortest amount of time possible.
To administer:
1) Shake tincture gently.
2) Remove the child safety cap with a built-in pipette.
3) Squeeze the bulb of the pipette to fill one full dropper worth of liquid into the pipette, this should be approximately 20 drops or 1ml of liquid.
4) Drip and hold tincture under the tongue for 15 to 20 seconds before swallowing any remaining liquid.
5) Always wait approximately three hours after the initial dose to see how the level of CBD and other cannabinoids affect you.
6) Administer each dose, one to three times a day as needed.
7) Upon dosing, always store your tinctures in a cool, dark location, out of the reach of children and pets.
