CBG is primarily known for its mood-enhancing efficacy. By combining CBG with the potency of CBD we aim for an “entourage effect,” ...the idea that cannabinoids work more effectively and with a greater impact when taken in conjunction with each other. If you are seeking a tincture to potentially reduce depression, improve mental focus and boost your overall mood, then CBG paired with CBD may be the perfect cannabinoid blend for you. Keylife CBD & CBG 1:1 Tincture is a “Broad Spectrum” product, meaning it is completely free of all traces of THC. All Keylife products are always manufactured using the same high-quality farming and quality control techniques, to ensure you receive a product of maximum potency and purity. We use only non-GMO, organic cannabis plants, grown in Portland, Oregon, and all plants are regularly screened to ensure maximum cannabinoid yield, in addition to guaranteeing that no heavy metals, pesticides, additives or flavorings are introduced during the farming process. You can also take peace of mind in knowing that our products will fit your lifestyle needs, as all Keylife tinctures are suitable for both vegan and gluten-free diets.

Description
Our Keylife CBD & CBG 1:1 Tincture is our attempt to bring you the finest quality product, produced, from start to finish, solely within the U.S. using all-natural farming techniques and strict quality assurance protocols. Our “Broad Spectrum” tinctures are created using all of the plant elements you’d come to expect from a “Full Spectrum” tincture, but they contain zero percent THC.
We begin with cannabis plants grown at our U.S. farms using all organic cultivation methods. We never use plants that have been genetically modified or treated with pesticides. We also employ strict quality control measures and testing, ensuring that no plants contain traces of heavy metals or other potential contaminants.
Once we have harvested our plants, we begin an extraction process to remove all the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other organic elements from within the raw material. Extraction is completed by sending super-critical CO2 through the harvested and trimmed plant matter to extract the cannabinoids from the terpenes, lipid molecules, and other plant compounds. Super-critical CO2 simply means that the CO2 is both extremely cold and high in pressure (approximately -69º F and 75 pounds PSI)14, allowing it to exist as both a gas and liquid simultaneously, which helps it pass through the plant material more easily and with greater impact on the contents. The CO2 acts as a solvent on the plant matter, helping it to breakdown, before being removed altogether, leaving behind a full spectrum extract15 that is then further processed in the next step in order to become the broad spectrum extract that we seek. Utilizing a CO2 process is costly, but it is a safer method of extraction and one that generally yields both the highest volume and purest quality of the product.
The next step is to send the broad spectrum extract along for short-path distillation, which eliminates all traces of THC and other unneeded substances from the extract, resulting in a broad-spectrum product. Remember, broad-spectrum tinctures contain 0% THC content. Eventually, we are left with only the CBD and CBG cannabinoids we need, which we then combine with our cold-pressed hemp seed oil. Before we ship the final tincture off to Florida for bottling and packaging, we conduct individual batch, third-party lab testing to ensure that all of our products are accurate for cannabinoid content and are completely free of all additives or sweeteners. All lab tests are publicly published and are both listed on our website and available upon request.
Every bottle of Keylife CBD & CBG 1:1 Tincture contains a completely 50/50 split of broad-spectrum CBD and CBG. While there is the presence of some trace amounts of other minor cannabinoids, these are never considered when it comes to our strength measurements listed on the bottle. For example, if you choose the 1000mg strength tincture, you will be receiving 500mg of CBD and 500mg of CBG in every bottle. All bottles come in a 30ml size with a built-in child safety cap to ensure access is limited to adults only. The cap also features a built-in pipette for easy dose measurement and administration. Choose from strengths ranging from 500mg to 2000mg available three delicious flavors: Berry Infused, Natural and Tropical.
CBD is the most referenced cannabinoid these days, with a vast array of products on the market to choose from. Salves, sprays, drinks, edibles, vapables, toiletries, and treats for your pets, there is no shortage of delivery methods to choose from when it comes to consuming cannabinoids, but tinctures have risen to the forefront of preferred methods. They are easily administered and have a high level of bioavailability or the rate and volume of how fast a drug is taken into your system. Tinctures are applied sublingually, or under the tongue, so that they can be absorbed into your vascular system quickly through your capillaries. Sublingual applications tend to have a 13% to 19% bioavailability rate (or how much and how fast a drug is absorbed into your system), though can be as high as 35% in some forms. Sublingual dosing provides a higher rate of bioavailability than simple oral dosing, so to ensure maximum efficacy always keep the tincture under your tongue for anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds. If you simply swallow a tincture without sublingual application first, you’ll still reap some benefits of the CBD, but the bioavailability could be reduced to as little as 6%.16
Cannabigerol or CBG as its commonly referred has a variety of potential medical applications:
– Appetite stimulant: Studies in rats found that CBG had an impact “by reducing latency to feed and increasing meal frequency,” meaning that the rats become hungrier, more frequently. This implies that CBG may be beneficial for those suffering from loss of appetite, a common side-effect in those undergoing chemotherapy treatments.17
– Antibiotic treatments: Various studies have shown the potency of cannabinoids when it comes to their effects as potential antibiotic treatments. A 2008 study on CBG found that it “showed potent activity against a variety of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains.”10 In addition, a study conducted by the Centre for Superbug Solutions at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of Queensland in Australia also found that CBD is an incredibly effective alternative to traditional antibiotics. When used as a treatment against staphylococcus and streptococcus, CBD worked faster than commonly prescribed antibiotics. The center’s senior research officer, Mark Blaskovich, Ph.D., was quoted as saying, “We looked at how quickly the CBD killed the bacteria, It’s quite fast, within 3 hours, which is pretty good, Vancomycin (Vancocin) kills over 6 to 8 hours.” Blaskovich concluded that “In every case, CBD had a very similar potency to that of common antibiotics.”9 These studies seem to indicate that both CBD and CBG have the potential to replace current antibiotic applications, with the possibility of expedited improvement with less side effects when compared with traditionally prescribed drugs.
– Neurological applications: CBG has been shown to assist in the antioxidant processes in the brain and in helping to prevent the early deterioration of nerve cells that can eventually lead to the onset of such conditions as Huntington’s disease.18
– Carcinogenesis inhibition: One of the most fascinating, and potentially impactful, medical studies on the effects of CBG, is on its ability to act as a possible inhibitor of carcinogenesis, or the process by which the body produces cancer cells. A 2014 study found that CBG was shown to slow the rate of carcinogenesis in colon cancer sufferers.8
Health.harvard.edu states that CBD has been suggested “for a wide variety of health issues,” including:
– The prevention of seizures from epilepsy: Specifically, childhood epilepsy and such debilitating disorders as Dravet Syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS)
– Treatment for anxiety and depression: Cannabinoids have been shown in lab tests to reduce anxiety, which is the leading contributing factor in suffering from depression. An interesting note is that CBD has been proven to reduce anxiety across all types of individuals, regardless of whether they suffer from some form of anxiety disorder or not.19
– Sleep regulation and insomnia: Early research from the National Center for PTSD and Palo Alto University shows that CBD may have “therapeutic potential for the treatment of insomnia,” and “may hold promise for REM sleep behavior disorder and excessive daytime sleepiness.”11
– The potential to inhibit inflammatory and neuropathic chronic pain (such as symptoms shown in arthritis sufferers)12
– Relief from symptoms caused by Multiple sclerosis: CBD is effective in improving pain and muscle tightness in sufferers of MS13, allowing for an improved quality of life.
KeyLife has gone to great lengths, whether it be in farming techniques, conducting research, investing in technology, or in offering complete transparency in lab testing, to ensure that no corners are cut, no misleading claims are ever made, and that only the highest-quality, all-natural CBD products end up in your hands. Try our KeyLife Broad Spectrum CBD Oil today and see how it can impact your life in a positive and beneficial way.

All Keylife goods are manufactured using the highest-quality ingredients and techniques. We place the utmost importance on ensuring that our customers receive a product that not only works well but that they can trust too. We never make any ingredient claims we cannot back up and we’re completely transparent in our testing, with publicly published lab reports available for all of our products. Every step of the farming and manufacturing process is completed within the U.S. ensuring we have full visibility and control over the entire operation, from our farm to your home.
Every bottle of Keylife CBD & CBG 1:1 Tincture is available in a 30ml size and is available in 500mg, 1000mg, 1500mg, and 2000mg strengths and either Natural, Berry Infused, or Tropical flavor.
Broad Spectrum CBG & CBD – The cannabinoids in our Keylife Tincture are all extracted from non-GMO, all-organic cannabis, grown in Portland, Oregon. We screen our plants for not just cannabinoid yield and purity, but also to ensure that there are no traces of heavy metals or pesticides present in the plants. In addition, we guarantee that no added preservatives, flavorings or other adulterants ever make it into the final tincture.
Cold-Pressed Hempseed Oil – Cannabinoids best bind to the receptors within our bodies when paired with lipid, or fat, molecules. Most manufacturers of CBD products choose to use MCT or coconut oil, as it is relatively easily absorbed into the body and is cheap and readily available. At Keylife we realized that this was a missed opportunity to take full advantage of as many parts of the cannabis plant as possible. Instead of MCT oil, we use cold-pressed hemp seed oil. This allows us to pull as many potential cannabinoids from the plant as we can, passing those benefits onto you in our tinctures. While hemp seed oil is a costlier choice, we believe it provides a better end product for our consumers. Hemp seed oil is, as the name implies, produced using the seeds from the cannabis plant, with the resulting oil high in nutrients, fatty acids, and other compounds from the plant. Hemp seed oil has been shown to help the body in a variety of ways, including the moisturizing and protection of skin cells, increasing fatty acids to the brain, and potentially aiding in the health of the heart and circulatory system.

Sleep RegulationCBD can help maintain homeostasis in our daily balance of productivity and rest, by inducing relaxation and subsequently the onset of sleep. It can also minimize the effects of disturbances that might normally wake you, meaning you’re likely to stay asleep for a longer, more restful night. |
|
Neurogenerative PropertiesCBG can prevent the premature breakdown of nerves and increase antioxidant activity in the brain. CBD can assist in the regulation of neuroregenesis after birth by interacting with receptors in the ECS, particularly in the hippocampus and lateral ventricles of the brain. |

Pain ManagementCBD has shown a propensity for aiding in the relief of chronic and neuropathic pain, with a reduced likelihood of the potential side-effects or possible addictive nature that comes with traditionally prescribed pain medications. |
|
Carcinogenesis InhibitionCBG has shown a potential impact on reducing the number and rate of growth of new cancer cells in the body. |
|
Mood ModulationCBD influences neural receptors in the brain, assisting in maintaining normal brain chemistry and the regulation of emotions, allowing you to manage or decrease daily levels of issues such as stress or anxiety. CBG can act on specific receptors in the brain to help regulate serotonin and GABA uptake, which then helps mediate synaptic activity in the brain. |

Antibacterial and Antifungal PropertiesStudies have shown that both CBD and CBG are potent antibacterial and antifungal agents. Both cannabinoids can assist in the elimination of staphylococcus and streptococcus in addition to helping permeate biofilm, the layer that surrounds the exterior of many bacteria and slows antibiotic absorption. Studies have shown that both cannabinoids can also have a significant impact against methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus or MRSA, implying they may be effective as an alternative to typically prescribed antibiotics with fewer potential side effects. |
Tinctures are administered orally, specifically sublingually, meaning they are placed under the tongue. Thanks to the numerous small veins under the tongue, referred to as capillaries), CBD and other cannabinoids can be absorbed quickly and efficiently into the bloodstream. Ensuring you receive the most cannabinoids possible in the shortest amount of time possible.
To administer:
1) Shake tincture gently.
2) Remove the child-safety cap with the built-in pipette.
3) Squeeze the bulb of the pipette to fill one full dropper worth of liquid into the pipette, this should be approximately 20 drops or 1ml of liquid.
4) Drip and hold tincture under the tongue for 15 to 20 seconds before swallowing any remaining liquid.
5) Always wait approximately three hours after the initial dose to see how the level of CBD and other cannabinoids affect you.
6) Administer each dose, one to three times a day as needed.
7) Upon dosing, always store your tinctures in a cool, dark location, out of the reach of children and pets.
