If you are looking for a cannabinoid that can aid you in your sleep then Cannabinol (CBN) may be the right choice.... While studies remain in their infancy, early signs point towards a strong sedative potential, with most users choosing CBN for its ability to help aid them in falling asleep. By combining CBN and CBD together we can create a synergistic effect that magnifies the potency of each cannabinoid more so than if just taken individually. KeyLife CBD & CBN is a perfect 1:1 mix of both broad-spectrum cannabidiol and cannabinol, blended with cold-pressed hemp seed oil rather than the cheaper and more readily available MCT or coconut oil preferred by other CBD manufacturers, thus ensuring no part of the cannabis plant goes to waste. Each 30ml bottle is created using our own organic, non-GMO cannabis, grown, and processed completely in the U.S. from farm to bottle, using only pesticide-free farming techniques. Every batch of KeyLife products is always tested by a third-party lab, guaranteeing no misleading ingredient lists or potency claims, just 500mg of CBD, 500mg of CBN, and hemp-seed oil. The KeyLife CBD & CBN 1:1 Tincture is simple, effective, and easy to use while providing you with the maximum number of cannabinoids and benefits possible.

Description
The Keylife CBD + CBN 1:1 Tincture is produced exclusively from start to finish in the U.S. using only the finest cannabis plants grown under strict quality control protocols. We use only organic, non-genetically modified plants, free from all pesticides and heavy metals, checked for purity to ensure maximum cannabinoid yields. All of our “Broad Spectrum” tinctures contain 0% THC.
Upon harvesting, we send the collected plant matter along to the extraction phase to pull the needed compounds from the plant. Extraction is completed by sending super-critical CO2 through the harvested and trimmed plant matter to extract the cannabinoids from the terpenes, lipid molecules, and other plant compounds. Super-critical CO2 simply means that the CO2 is both extremely cold and high in pressure (approximately -69º F and 75 pounds PSI)13, allowing it to exist as both a gas and liquid simultaneously, which helps it pass through the plant material more easily and with greater impact on the contents. The CO2 acts as a solvent on the plant matter, helping it to breakdown, before being removed altogether, leaving behind a full spectrum extract14 which subsequently undergoes further processing in the next step to become the final broad-spectrum extract that we need. Utilizing a CO2 extraction process is costly, but it’s a safer method and one that generally yields the maximum number of cannabinoids.
The aforementioned next step in the process involves sending the full spectrum extract along for a process referred to as short-path distillation, which removes all THC and other unneeded substances, resulting in the extract becoming a broad-spectrum compound. Remember, broad-spectrum tinctures contain 0% THC content. Eventually, we are left with only the CBD and CBN cannabinoids we need, which we then combine with our cold-pressed hemp seed oil. Before the final tincture is shipped off to our facility for bottling and packaging, we conduct individual batch, third-party lab testing to ensure content purity. All lab tests are publicly published and are both listed on our website and available upon request.
There are countless CBD and other cannabinoid products available to purchase by the public these days, whether it be in the form of salves, drinks, edibles, pet treats, vapeables, or smokables. Tinctures are arguably the most popular choice though, with their prevalence in the market, at least in part, due to their ease of use and rapid results. Tinctures also tend to have a high level of bioavailability or the rate and volume of how fast a drug is taken into your system. Tinctures are applied sublingually, or under the tongue, so that they can be absorbed into your vascular system quickly through your capillaries. Sublingual applications tend to have a 13% to 19% bioavailability rate (or how much and how fast a drug is absorbed into your system), though can be as high as 35% in some forms. Sublingual dosing provides a higher rate of bioavailability than simple oral dosing, so to ensure maximum efficacy always keep the tincture under your tongue for anywhere from 30 to 60 seconds. If you simply swallow a tincture without sublingual application first, you’ll still reap some benefits of the CBD, but the bioavailability could be reduced to as little as 6%.16
Every bottle of Keylife CBD + CBN 1:1 Tincture always contains a completely 50/50 split of broad-spectrum CBD and CBN. While there is the presence of some trace amounts of other minor cannabinoids, these are never considered when it comes to our strength measurements listed on the bottle. So, if you choose the 1000mg strength tincture, you can rest assured that you will be receiving both 500mg of broad-spectrum CBD and 500mg of broad-spectrum CBN in every bottle. All Keylife CBD + CBN 1:1 Tinctures come in 30ml bottle sizes with a built-in child safety cap to ensure access is limited to adults only and features a built-in pipette for easy dose measurement and administration. Choose from strengths as low as 500mg and as high as 2000mg in three delicious flavors: Berry Infused, Natural and Tropical.
Hard scientific studies and research on cannabinoids are generally still in their infancy. But based on published medical research to date, scientists believe that CBN and CBD may offer the following benefits:
• Sleep regulation and insomnia: Users of CBN most commonly praise its sedative effects, with many reporting that it aids them in falling asleep more easily at night, but scientific study has yet to verify these claims. CBD has been more thoroughly researched though and the evidence shows it could aid the body in a maintaining healthy circadian rhythm. Early research from the National Center for PTSD and Palo Alto University shows that CBD may have “therapeutic potential for the treatment of insomnia,” and “may hold promise for REM sleep behavior disorder and excessive daytime sleepiness.”1
• Appetite stimulant – CBN has shown strong potential as an appetite stimulant, leading to increased consumption behaviors in lab tests, meaning it might help those impacted by the side effects of treatments such as chemotherapy.2,3
• Skin cell regulation – CBN helps reduce the amount of keratinocyte, a skin cell that produces keratin, in the body. A build-up of keratinocyte can lead to the skin condition psoriasis, so by reducing the production of keratinocyte, CBN could assist in the reduction or prevention of the condition.2,6
• Pain perception – Both CBN and CBD have an impact on the capsaicin-sensitive neurons within our bodies, which are an integral part of registering and perceiving pain. The cannabinoids may interact with these neurons to lessen the impacts of myofascial pain, in turn alleviating the discomfort that comes with such diseases as temporomandibular disorders, fibromyalgia, or other muscular-related injuries.2,4,5
• Ocular health – One of the most interesting studies of CBN has shown it may also help the body regulate internal pressure in our own eyes. A buildup of pressure within the eye itself can lead to a production of fluid in the front portion of the eyeball, which can then bring about the development of glaucoma. If left untreated glaucoma can lead to diminished vision loss and even blindness, by helping the body regulate its ocular pressure CBN may prevent the possibility of developing glaucoma over time.7,8
• Gastrointestinal homeostasis – Scientists have speculated that a deficiency in our own endocannabinoid production could bring about GI issues within our bodies, including those that involve symptoms such as pain and inflammation. Cannabinoids from sources outside of the body may help to mitigate the effects of these issues.9
• Antibiotic uses – Various studies have shown the potency of cannabinoids when it comes to their effects as potential antibiotic treatments. An experiment conducted by the Centre for Superbug Solutions at the Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of Queensland in Australia found that CBD is a potent alternative to traditional antibiotics. When used as a treatment against staphylococcus and streptococcus, CBD worked faster than commonly prescribed antibiotics. The center’s senior research officer, Mark Blaskovich, Ph.D., was quoted as saying, “We looked at how quickly the CBD killed the bacteria, it’s quite fast, within 3 hours, which is pretty good, Vancomycin (Vancocin) kills over 6 to 8 hours.” Blaskovich concluded that “In every case, CBD had a very similar potency to that of common antibiotics.”10 These studies seem to indicate that both CBD and CBN have the potential to replace current antibiotic applications, with the possibility of expedited improvement with fewer side effects when compared with traditionally prescribed drugs.11
• Neurological applications – A 2005 study found that CBG was effective in delaying the onset of neurological issues associated with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). While CBD can assist in the regulation of neurogenesis after birth “due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities and the modulation of a large number of brain biological targets (receptors, channels) involved in the development and maintenance of neurodegenerative diseases.”12 CBD has thus shown “beneficial effects in AD [Alzheimer’s disease], PD [Parkinson’s disease] and MS [multiple sclerosis].”12
• Prevention of seizures – Specifically childhood epilepsy and such debilitating disorders as Dravet Syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (LGS)
• Treatment for anxiety and depression – Cannabinoids have been shown in lab tests to reduce anxiety, which is the leading contributing factor in suffering from depression. An interesting note is that CBD has been proven to reduce anxiety across all types of individuals, regardless of whether they suffer from some form of anxiety disorder or not.13

At Keylife CBD we place a huge emphasis on using only the finest ingredients and ensuring strict purity analysis methods throughout the production process, resulting in a trustworthy and effective product that fits your needs. All of our goods are backed up by third-party lab testing, guaranteeing that what’s listed on the box is actually what you receive. From farm to bottle, our entire manufacturing process is completed solely within America, so we always know what is happening at every step along the way.
Our Keylife CBD + CBN 1:1 Tincture comes in a 30ml bottle size in strengths starting at 500mg and going up to 2000mg, with three flavors to select from; Berry Infused, Natural or Tropical.
Broad Spectrum CBD & CBN – The cannabinoids in our Keylife CBD + CBN 1:1 Tincture are produced using non-genetically modified and all-organic cannabis, grown at our farms exclusively within the U.S. All plants are screened for yield and purity to ensure that no heavy metals or pesticides are ever introduced at any point during the farming and cultivation process. We also guarantee that no unnecessary artificial additives or preservatives make it into the tincture.
Cold-Pressed Hemp Seed Oil – Cannabinoids most effectively interact with the receptors in our own internal endocannabinoid systems when first combined with a lipid or fat molecule. The traditional manufacturer choice of lipid has been MCT oil, as it’s cheap, readily available, and easily absorbed by the body. At Keylife CBD, though we realized this was a missed opportunity to maximize the number of cannabinoids and potentially beneficial cannabis compounds that we could provide you, by using cold-pressed hemp seed oil we not only reap the benefits of using as much of the cannabis plant as possible, we also provide you with a tincture that is high in fatty acids and nutrients. Science has shown that hemp seed oil can help moisturize and protect your skin, improve brain chemistry and nutrition and benefit numerous parts of the vascular system. While hemp seed oil is a more expensive option from a manufacturing perspective, we believe the benefits to our customers are worth the additional cost to us.

Tinctures are administered orally, specifically sublingually, meaning they are placed under the tongue. Thanks to the numerous small veins under the tongue, referred to as capillaries, CBD and other cannabinoids can be absorbed quickly and efficiently into the bloodstream. Ensuring you receive the most cannabinoids possible in the shortest amount of time possible.
To administer:
1) Shake tincture gently.
2) Remove the child-safety cap with the built-in pipette.
3) Squeeze the bulb of the pipette to fill one full dropper worth of liquid into the pipette, this should be approximately 20 drops or 1ml of liquid.
4) Drip and hold tincture under the tongue for 15 to 20 seconds before swallowing any remaining liquid.
5) Always wait approximately three hours after the initial dose to see how the level of CBD and other cannabinoids affect you.
6) Administer each dose, one to three times a day as needed.
